Kappa River

Overview

The Kappa River is a small river located in the central portion of SW Island. It runs from a small lake (Sunset Harbour) in Syntax Estates to the Palm Sea and ultimately the Irenic Ocean. Along the river, there are many housing settlements such as New Kappa, Silver Kappa and Kappa Chi Village all which borrow their name from the river.

In recent years, it has been slowly drying up and has become much shallower that it originally was. It has been suggested that at its current rate the river will no longer exist within the next 2 to 3 years.
