HighridgeFjord

Overview

Highridge Fjord is a narrow inlet created thousands of years ago by glacial activity from the Southern Mountain Ranges. The colony of Obsidian Cove resides in a forking of the fjord near the shore. Highridge Fjord is an essential part of the watershed of the Southern Mountains, where the fjord terminates.

Transcending Bridge

Due to ongoing development in the area and the growing presence of Humans, infrastructure is being built to make use of the area. In 2007, the Rising Glen group supported the construction of an arch bridge across the Fjord to support road traffic between Obsidian Cove and Rising Glen Retreat.
