AW 5.2 Released
« on: December 14, 2011, 07:13:51 PM »
If you haven't heard already, AW 5.2 was released last week with the major changes being a slight-rework to the GUI and a faster rendering engine.  If you want to check out the changes that were made, view the wiki or head on over to the forums to take part in the update "discussion".  Here's to looking ahead to AW 5.3!

Awww... so apparently CAV's are no longer available for us tourists. I might get a citizenship soon, but then again, I seldom use Activeworlds.

AW runs like a supertanker, difficult to turn, but it will get there...

Maybe, but in the mean while they upset their user base, citizens and tourists alike. That's not cool. They leap before they look.

They're a huge oil tanker with a 10m gash in the side and their solution is to slightly adjust course and get a new Foosball table for the crew lounge.  Ship needs to be brought into drydock for a full repair and overhaul.
Anyone need any ore???

Maybe their user base needs upsetting once in awhile. Just saying.

So what you're saying is they *want* an Occupy AW? Doesn't appear to be working.

Of course they want an Occupy AW. Hell, they'd be thrilled if anyone occupied AW for more than two seconds. *rimshot*

And Chris, if that were true then they'd all be millionaires, as they've been upsetting the userbase for years. All things considered, having a bunch of people bitching in the forums is the least of their problems right now.

I agree with you Goob. :P I meant that maybe the userbase needs to have a little more turnover (i.e. nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure). The old guard of users is clearly irrelevant and I guess I'm just getting sick of all the whinging and calls for seppuku.
