Gryphon GR-1

Overview

The GR-1 is Gryphon's reknowned racing craft. Its sleek design and tall rear spoiler have given it an unmistakable look that can be associated with everything that moves fast. Gryphon took out a few of the racing modifications to the craft to make it conform with restrictions of crafts that must move through the city streets, but this "civilian" version is still very close to its on-track brethren. At the back there is a very large thrust nozzle, which is the rear end of the craft's heavily modified Supro 1060 engine, minus the extra enhancements for the racetrack. At the side are two angled nozzles for turning, each being the single thrust nozzle of a MAD Scramjets N-class engine, commonly used on Gryphon industrial crafts for extra turning power (as in the G1050). Subsystems for this craft include everything from safety and stability systems to energy optimization systems, as well as the Racing Subsystem Set from the Stealth GT. Fuel cell arrays are located on each side of the vehicle, by the N-class engines.
